This week sees the fourth anniversary of the law that supposedly banned fox hunting. Little chanmged of course, the kind of people in charge of fox hunts consider themselves above the law.
One thing we learned from reading news of how the law has been enforced in various places is that Northern Ireland is the only place in Britain where hunting foxes with dogs is still legal.
That is bound to be disaapointing for the anti – hunting lobby. We should perhaps look on the positive side and be happy that hunting Cathloics with dogs is no longer allowed in the province.
