Somebody who is very very clever but needs to get a life has worked out that after adjusting for inflation the current recession and the bailout of bankers has cost the developed nations more than The First World War.
So there we have it. Just stop worrying about paying off your credit card debts, well have a war instead. Its cheaper.

You've caught me out there - I never fancied that film even though I've fancied Helena Bonham Carter since before I knew who she was (saw her waiting for her cousin in the lobby of a Merchant bank where I was working, she must have been about eighteen, and though WOW! I've always liked girls who're a bit flaky.
It's great that her style of dressing hasn't changed.
