Hoping to get off to the West Yorkshire Playhouse sometime this week to see Lenny Henry making his serious acting debut doing Shakespeare.
He's playing the title role in Othello: The Dudley Moor of Venice...
Goodbye, Goodbye, we're leaving you, goodbye....

Let me guess, he dumps Desdemona because she is not a ten?
Unfortunately I don't have an appropriate quote from Othello because I don't like the play. I'd rather read Coriolanus or have all my teeth pulled without anasthetic.
I can picture a scene (in the Boggart Blog production) where The Dudley Moore bursts in on Iago and Desdemona as they are making the beast with two backs and says in a thick Bruumy accent.
"Whut the fookin' 'ell is gowin' on 'ere? Am yow at eet?"
To which both reply simultaneously, "Owld on Dudders, thees amn't whut it lowks loike."
