As the American army continue to pull back from Iraqi cities in pereparation for full withdrawal a Pentagon spokesman claimed the six year occupation had been a success by saying the streets of Baghdad are now safer than the streets of Mogadishu.
If the American military think the streets of Mogadishu are dangerous I hope they never find themselves in Moss Side, Catford or Govan. The only place that bears comparison is the crater of an active volcano.

Yeah I know.
During one of my stints in London I had a flat in Muswell Hill. 'Bout a hundred yards from that statue thing on the roundabout at the end of the Broadway. After about a year I moved on to Brum then a roving project then back to an office Paternoster Square when I had a studio on Archway Road near Highgate tube station and a pub called The Back Rose. You need any more detail?
