EDITOR'S NOTE: I reversed the running order of this and the adjacent post as they did not make much sense the way they appeared.

So the mouse ended up on the floor and L.C. set about playing with it.
In behind the cat baskets under the sideboard.

Along to the wine rack, in and out, up, over, behind, through - never seem to have much wine in the wine rack despite our best intentions.
Back under the sideboard and in behind the 2 foot by 5 foot mirror we have placed there for safe keeping whilst we decide whether we wish to replace it on the bedroom door it came off.

Can L.C. get behind the mirror?

No. He tries to push his head behind it, but it is only a mouse sized gap.

#Mouse is resting behind the mirror and sending up his prayers of thanks to St. Gerry, the patron saint of mice.

I slide the mirror out from behind the sideboard.

L.C. pounces on the mouse and carries it under the dining table, where he drops it and recommences the chase.

I leave him to it, surely this mouse must tire soon.

Ten minutes later I go back to check it out.

L.C. is sitting in the corner of the room, sniffing and pawing at the radiator...

Truly the Greene and Black's of chocolate fireguards.
