Both Washington and London are denying rumours of a rift between Gordon the Terrible and President O following the story that GB had to pursue Barack through corridors until finally cornering him in a kitchen to secure a one to one meeting.
It has been said that Washington refused five seperate requests from Gordon's men for a private meeting between these two giants of world politics.
Gordon has furiously denied these allegations claiming that the special relationship is a strong as ever.
Spokespersons for Mr.Obama have echoed the sentiment saying they have the strongest respect for Gordon and hope to be working with him for a long time to come.
Well Gordon's a football man, he's familiar with the mutual shows of respect and support between managers and directors just prior to the manager's sacking, he should know this lovefest means he will have been shown the dooor by 9am tomorrow.
