Thats true, it is only a tenner to go see chester play but there stadium ( I use the term loosely here) is A JOKE. Went to see a match and because a goal was disallowed we did not know what the score was until half time because there was no scoreboard. I am a Ipswich supporter and agree more commitment in lower leagues but chester does not have big more…

Considering their sensitivity to noise, it's odd that bats should choose to live in belfries ...
And even as an atheist I might add that Christmas without the baby Jesus totally sucks ...

The Belgians saying we have the worst cuisine in the world is a clear indication they are in denial. Not only did the Belgians invent frites, they eat "frites avec tout."
They do make good chocolate though. more…

Interesting you should list that paragon of virtue Alan "carry on scamming" Sugar, Ian. For t'was none other than the saggy-jowelled surly humourless newly-ermined one who commented, aroundabout the time of his involvement with Spurs and Terry "pornstar" Venebles, that there were certain individuals managing certain teams, that if it wasnt for thei more…

You're spoiling the jokes here Ros. And I'm not defending United but they did have the deal OK'd by the Premier League (Rupert Murdoch) if not the FA.
I'm not an expert on football but I'm sure there are many worse examples than those I used. Wasn't there a bloke bought Aldershot a few years ago, said he was a millionaire property deve more…

I was surprised that Man United couldn't be fined like the Hammers were for the Tevez affair. But then, they're Man United.
As for Flashman, I'm quite sure that had the "Fit & Proper Person Test" been around in the early 90's, he would have failed it. Would have pleased Barnet fans. more…
